Thailand's reputation as the land of smiles has proven true in all of the ways that ELIC has encountered this beautiful country. Thailand is a place of community when our teachers working in Asia gather there each year. It has served as a home to many who taught online in Chinese universities while China's borders were closed during the COVID pandemic. Most recently, it has become a launching point for equipping future long-term leaders and teachers as the home base of GAP (the Global Ambassador Program). Through all of the roles this country has played in our organization's work, we have always loved to connect with the welcoming community in Thailand!
